So after a trip to Lowe's, fail, cuz Old Man River couldn't figure out how to get the key in the cutter. And at that point I didn't trust him. Then it was off to Ace Hardware, fail, cuz the fine gentlemen didn't know what my key was made of. My day ended there as I had prior obligations. Today I took it to Home Depot where Old Man River #2 was hesitant to do it, but after some convincing he did so. Initially the key didn't work but after I did some touch up with the Dremel, all is good! Programmed it to start the truck. Now just need to program the FOB. What are people using for directions for the fob?

Glad you got it cut and programed!
I used the youtube link that the seller provided me with the key.

Soo.. I ended up finding a deal on a 5th Gen I couldn't pass up on (TRDP in Inferno ).
Anyone want my blank key? It's still in the mail. I can drop it off w/ USPS for $39 (savings of $0.18 *and* it's shipped within the US, as opposed to being sent from Taiwain!! )

Oh man. Thats wack! Contact the seller. He will make it right for you. Also, maybe a dumb question....The listing you purchased from, did it say Nissan?

Still only for 2005+?
Has anyone confirmed this works in a 2003 or 2004?

Seller only lists it for 05' and on....I think it really has to do with the fcc ID # on the back of your original fob. Do you still have that? Pic? What's the FcC #?

I set mine up today with a few issues but ended up a complete success. Programming the fob portion went smooth per the instructions included. Then I went to get the key cut (closest town is ~an hour away). ACE hardware wouldn't do it but referred me to an old school hardware store. Cutting one side of the blank went fine but when he went to cut the other side, the folded fob portion was jamming up the works. After some fiddling with it and looking for where the battery was installed, the fob portion pulled apart and was small enough to cut w/o interference. Once cut, the fob snapped back together and everything was good to go. Programming with the key in/out, door open/close, etc. method worked like a charm.
