Anyone install Push button and remote start/RFID entry

Hey all, Happy Thanksgiving!

I've posted twice in 5 years since getting my 4Runner but visit the site from time to time. With the exception of both rear wheel bearings needing replacement, it's been great with currently only 117,000 miles, and I intend to keep it as long as it doesn't provide me too many problems.

So on to the question after doing searches here and via Google.

Has anyone installed the Push button remote start/RFID system from Welcome to Advanced Keys? It seems like an all-in-one system with a lot of convenience. Plus, they're running 10% off with free shipping until Nov 27. If so, did you run into any major issues?

I have installed alarms, radios, etc, and done most major repairs before, so I don't think it would be too hard. Just looking for input and anyone else's experience.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure how that system works, so can't say how confident I am in it. Also depends on how they are encrypting their transmitter.

I've thought about trying to convert a Smart Key system out of another vehicle into the 4th gen for fun; but it's very complicated.

At best this just seems like a immobilizier bypass with an automatic unlock as you approach feature. Not entirely sure I feel comfortable about that...

i rather do a 2 way alarm with remote start, also you dont need to hold the crank to start the truck with the key.
