Walmart Supertech 75w90 Gear Oil

I'm about to change my diff and transfer case fluids. Has anybody used this synthetic blend?

This is what I plan to use. Great reviews across the other forums. I think it's made by warren distribution.

I haven't heard anything bad about walmart fluid. I guess if you plan on changing every 30k, shouldn't be too bad

mobil 1 is pretty cheap though

Walmart's oil is made by Mobil, so the synthetic oil is Mobil one. I used to deliver Mobil oils and my stepdad picked up Walmart's oil from Mobil's plant.

I can second this. We've done compressor service in the bottling plant in the past. The containers are filled on the same line. I've been using Walmart fluids for years.

If that's the case, I wonder what explains a cold pour test result like this. Mobil 1 appears significantly thinner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alnOguGvyh8

Edit: Also found this showing differential composition and physical characteristics between the two oils. http://www.pqiamerica.com/March2013P...sallfinal.html
I'm not saying anything about the quality of Walmart oil, simply that it doesn't appear to be the same oil as Mobil 1.

Their motor oil may be made my mobile, but I dont think their gear oil is. There's lots of info about warren and super tech gear oil online. But I'd be happier if you were right!

Does anyone know how much I need for the front differential? Also, do you fill until it's just below the fill plug?
Thanks
