I now have a 3rd lock actuator that has failed in the past 6 months. I had purchased oem replacements at www.partznet.com for the driver & passenger back doors that failed within a couple of weeks of each other. I had a mechanic replace both. Now that my drivers side front door just failed today I have decided I want to do the repair myself. When searching the forum someone indicated they had purchased a refurbished unit on ebay. I found the seller and the price is around $45 compared to $170 with partznet (new). The seller indicates he will warranty the actuator for life if you send in your current "broken" actuator. Guess his warranty will be good as long as he is around? I have searched the forum and can't locate directions on replacement. Does anyone have a detailed write up of the replacement? Pics or videos are always a plus!
