Bilstein 5100s with FJ Springs Front and Toytec Superflex Rear, Bad Combo?

I am currently running the 5100s set at 1.75" with FJ TT Springs up front. I currently have a 2.75" lift up front. I am running the FJ TT Rear springs, which gives me a .5" lift. I went on a trip to Utah this past weekend, and my rear sags with load and passengers. I do plan on getting the Toytec 2" Superflex springs soon to help with the sag. Will running FJ springs in the front and Toytec in the rear make the ride uncomfortable where I have to replace the front springs? I wanted to see if anyone has experienced this. I off-road here and there, but 75% of the time it is on pavement. It is comfortable now as my DD.

It was a great combo for me, I ran exactly that setup for awhile with no complaints at all. With the 5100s at 1.75" up front it should be almost perfect level.

Since the thread is up, I'm going to ask the question here.

On my previous 07 runner, I ran Stock FJ Springs/Struts + DayStar Kit and was able to clear 285's w/ a spacer.

My Current Ride: 2003 Limited v6 -

Question is, I have a set of FJ Springs and a DS Leveling Kit, and want to order the 5100's for the struts. I want to run the 285's again (spacer or no spacer, either is fine) but my concern is the clearance with the 5100's. I'm assuming they're going to be fine, seeing it was done on stock FJ struts.

Whats a good setting to be ran w/ the 5100's and the DS Kit. (2.5/1.5 for ref)

the highest setting is 2.5", so with the FJ springs it'll be 3.5 without the DS kit. are you planning on running UCAs? if not, i wouldn't go higher than 3" lift. I honestly wouldn't run the DS kit with 5100s since they are adjustable. You can probably fit 285s with a 3.5", i've never ran that big of a tire, im sure you'll know better than me haha

That makes sense. I ran a 285 with stock trail FJ struts/springs on my 07. I ran stock UCA's but I did have a 1.25 spacer installed, and cleared fine. I'm assuming I can just lower the adjustable shocks down, and run the DS kit to not stretch the struts to the max.

im reading somewhere that you DO NOT want to add spacers lift to 5100s unless they are at zero setting. so im not sure.

I've been coming across that too... Or people will bump it up to the first setting and add them.
