Going from XREAS (100,000 miles) w/ Daystar 2.5"/1.5" spacer lift and 265/70R17 tires to Dobinsons C59-677V rear coils with 285/70R17 tires I gained 2.9-3" hub to Fender and 3.5-4.5" ground to fender.

Finally got my suspension all installed and tested out. It has been on for about a month and a half now so assuming it has settled if it has at all.
What I am running:

Front:
Elka 2.5 Reservoir with DSC
Eibach 14"x650# spring installed (replacing 13"x700#
Total Chaos UCA with Delta joint
Timbren Active Offroad Bumpstops

Rear:
Elka 2.5 Reservoir with DSC
Dobinsons C59-677V
Timbren Active Offroad Bumpstops

Before I lifted I was running XREAS with Daystar 2.5"/1.5" Spacer lift on 265/70R17 wheels.
Measurements before:
Driver Front-
Ground-Fender: 36"
Hub to Fender: 21 1/8"

Passenger Front-
Ground-Fender: 36"
Hub to Fender: 21"

Driver Rear-
Ground-Fender: 36"
Hub to Fender: 21 1/2"

Passenger Rear-
Ground-Fender: 37"
Hub to Fender: 21 3/4"

After the lift I upped my tire size to 285/70R17's.
Measurements are:
Driver Front-
Ground-Fender: 38 1/4"
Hub to Fender: 22 1/2"

Passenger Front-
Ground-Fender: 38"
Hub to Fender: 22 1/2"

Driver Rear-
Ground-Fender: 40 1/2"
Hub to Fender: 24 1/2"

Passenger Rear-
Ground-Fender: 40 1/2"
Hub to Fender: 24 1/8"

Was this right after installation? It does look a bit taller, not yet settled.

Yeah, it takes about 500 miles for the coils to break in and settle. Make sure the pigtail of the coils are against the step in the coil seat on the axle properly too.

No, no sales coming, sorry. We're actually having to do a price rise very very soon, since people keep playing with the import tariffs into the USA....

As a newbie there are so many suspension options available to me.

I still have yet to hit my 15 post count to be order to post my own thread and build thread but I wanted to shoot my shot here.

I am looking to get about 3 inch total rise out of a suspension lift. What components from your catalog of products would I need to accomplish this with a 110lb Coastal Offroad metal front bumper and an otherwise completely stock 2004 V8 SR5 with no XREAS.

It will be mainly used as a commuter but the entire reason why I bought this 4runner was the ability to wheel.....in style.

I look forward to hearing back from you and possibly snagging a set before the price rise due to the terrible tantrums from a certain someone to increase the tariffs.

Hey man, so for 3" front and rear with that bumper, here's what I'd suggest

C59-314
GS59-220
UCA59-002K
DD59-529K
C59-677V
GS59-701

I have a 2005 GX 470 with KDSS and want to do 3" front and rear to get a factory rake. I'll have no additional weight other than the occasional camping/fishing/hunting. I would like it as comfortable as possible due to having 2 kids. What's your recommendation? I know I'll need to do a coil conversion in the rear and was also told that KDSS equipped vehicles may need different springs for the left side?

Oh, I'm already planning to get SPC UCA's as well.

@dobinsons_mike

Just installed a Dobinsons lift kit on my 2005 SR5 V6 4WD and am thoroughly impressed! I have had 5 Toyota trucks, most of them lifted, and this suspension has the best feel. Slightly firmer than stock but it still soaks up bumps on the road very comfortably. I achieved the exact stance and amount of lift that I was hoping for.

Front: C59-300/GS59-221 (with 5mm driver spacer installed)
Rear: C59-505/GS59-705
Wheels: Fifteen52 Turbomac HD 17x8.5, Bronze
Tires: Kuhmo Road Venture AT51 265/65/17

Cheers to Mike for great customer service and a great product.
