My C4Fab bumper'ette' and winch are still on the way and the rear is pretty much unloaded. I spec'd the coils to this additional weight so I'll do some more measurements loaded and after the coils have settled. Distance from the center of the front wheel to the fender is 23" and the rear 24".

I just am not seeing part # C59-350/ ? what say you mike? Crikeymike ? https://www.toyota-4runner.org/member.php?u=148378. using all sources to solidify a choice, but this part number not listed?
Thanks if you all can help.

It's just not as common. Dobinsons makes a lot of different coils and sometimes we pick one to suit a customer specifically.

It was a part number that was available when I bought the lift. This was 2 years ago and at that time the Dobinson stuff was new to the US. At that time I believe there were only 3 front coil options and maybe the same for the rear. Not long after I got mine two more rear coil options were available.

Installed my 701v rear coils this past weekend. Have only driven the runner for a few miles around town but what a difference. It's handling the weight of my rear end perfectly. I'll be taking it out to the dirt this coming weekend and if I can stay off my bumps while fully loaded I'll be one extremely happy person.

What made you choose the 701v? I am currently thinking about the 749v with a 850lb rating vs the 701v with a 600lb rating.

When I first got the rear bumper I tried the Metal Tech 3" heavy LT coils. They worked fine for the crawling trails we were doing at the time, but I soon found out they weren't working too well for high speed or really rutted/washed out roads. So I switched to the Dobinson 677s thinking that the static 400 would work better than the MT LT coils. Turns out they were about the same. Still couldn't handle the weight. After doing some rough math I figured I was around 600+ loaded with gas, swingout, 35" spare, water, camping gear, roof rack, gas skid, etc in the rear. So decided to give the 701s a run. I don't have a RTT, and never will, so I think the 749s would just be overkill. I'll find out this weekend how they work out.

Doing a trail to camp with a mix of high speed, slow speed, rocky, rutted, etc. It's my shakedown trail that I use every time I make major changes to rig and I know it well. Doesn't change too much unless it's been particularly rainy. Just ran it in November and there's barely been any rain since.

Holy shit what a huge difference off road. I was hitting things faster and harder than I would have liked because the rear is finally about where it needs to be. Next up will be a shock tune but I'm super happy with the 701s handling the amount of weight I have in the rear. Hit the bumps a couple times, but it wasn't nearly as harsh as it was before I did the coil change.

All pending backorders for UCA's will be shipping out to you next week and there's a limited amount of available sets arriving also.

Do you know if anyone is running Air Lift bags with the C59-675V? If yes, do you have a part number?

Yes, I've had a friend and several people run them. My buddy was running these in his 675Vs

If you guys get the springs for 100LB static weight in back, make sure you keep the weight back there - gets pretty bouncy if you don't...

Just the motivation I needed to build V3 of my cargo solution. More to come...

Hey all!

So with my tax refund coming, I've finally decided to bite the bullet and lift my 07 Sport edition.

I replaced the stock suspension about a year ago with a set of Bilstein 4600's and OE replacement springs. Needless to say, it rides like crap. I can feel absolutely everything in on our terribly maintained roads here in Central VT.

I don't really off-road other than the dirt roads, class IV roads and forest service tracks around here, so good on road comfort is paramount for me.

I've been looking at getting the 221 front struts paired with the c59-300 springs for the front, and 705 shocks paired with C59-325 springs for the rear. Would this set up be good for a slightly leveled lift? Would it be good for our terrible northern New England roads?

Thank you all so much!
