I saw this post of yours.

Are you saying that it will still align well without adjustable UCAs? Or would I still need them?

You can get a factory alignment without them but lifted Toyotas drive much better with uca's and a high caster alignment

After being on the fence for a while took the plunge. Had looked at
Ome and Ironman, everyone I knew rated Dobinson higher. Doing a light build so got lowest rated springs and twin tubes 2” lift. A bit firm than stock, hope it settles softer.

Wow! Surprised they were 295s. Good to know. I’m about to purchase the 2.5 and 1.5 springs he had at that time but will only run 285s. Assuming he had to trim a little right?

Yeah probably had to trim. With all tire fitting, I recommend pulling the front shocks and cycling the front suspension bump to droop and steering lock to lock to ensure fitment throughout the range of motion

Trying to decide
I have 285 70 17 BFG KO2s, Spidertrax 1.25 spacers, JBA UCAs waiting to go on my 07 Sport V8. No added weight. Already pushed front fenderliners forward and will trim the bumper cover.
I've been thinking about going with:
C59-314s up front
C59-505s in rear
with Dobinsons struts and shocks
I don't mind some rake but would like less than factory.
Hoping for minimal lift without rubbing after minor trimming.
Daily driver light off-roading
@ Crikeymike
Will I have any issues or should I be going with something else? I just haven't seen anyone with this same set up (lift and tire size). The closest is something like in the quote below but not sure about how much rake it has. Or driftmonkeys original setup like I quoted on the previous page of this thread (post 1082) where he has 2.5 and 1.5 springs and 295s.
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks guys

Should be fine with that setup. 2.5" front and 1.5" rear with 33s is the most common setup Dobinsons sells for 4th gens.

Ok great thanks! I'm going to order the front springs/struts/top plates fully assembled. Is that done in Jax or at the Miami warehouse before they ship?

Currently have All Pro 3" lift FJC rear springs in my 4runner and its sitting a little stinkbug. I could lift the front end some more (Fox coilovers) or since I am planning to remove the stock spare tire and weight distribution hitch but replace both with a simple tube rear bumper, what springs would lower the rear an inch? Don't plan on hauling a lot of weight, probably won't do a swing out spare tire holder or anything like that. Just want a 1.5" lift spring or so. Which Dobinson spring would be best?

With a light rear end, one of these would be best.
C59-505 - 1.25-1.5" with stock weight
C59-325 - 1.75-2" with stock weight

Hey Mike - Currently running OME 895 in the rear, which I believe are similar to C59-327. For shocks I have Bilstein 5160. I have a swing out tire carrier with my spare tire and some accessories mounted. I'm guessing there's close to 200lbs of added weight.
I'd like a little more lift, would C59-675V be a good fit or would you recommend something else? I don't plan on running extended travel rear shocks and will likely only be adding more weight when filling up the rear with camping gear. It's also my daily so I don't want something too stiff for when it's not loaded. Thanks!

Hey bud,
Those probably wouldn't get you the extra lift you're looking for. The C59-677V would be more ideal, and they still have a lighter spring rate that your current springs, so you'd get more lift but also a more comfortable ride in the back.
