Nice Miata and WRX! I'm thinking of getting a 1st gen Miata for auto-x but decided to get a motorcycle first.
I have an 07' Black Limited too so looking forward to your seeing your lift/build.
Thank you!
I autox'd my miata and man, that was fun as hell. 269k on the stock motor and it was still going strong with very good compression numbers, not even a single drop of oil. I ended up selling it to my friend since I had too many cars.. :/ What bike did you get?

Thanks! I'm pumped as well!
I have a soft spot for pop up headlights, my first car was an 89' MR2 which I regrettably sold. I'll get another one when the time is right.
I had CBR600 which I sold last year and in the market for a street legal supermoto. I'd love to get a KTM or Husky, but DRZ400SM is more in my budget and just enough power to have fun in the local backroads and small tracks.
As for your lift, I'd recommend shock and spring replacements, the ride will be so much better. I'd only consider the spacer lift if the truck was new, adding spacers to old suspension means you'll still have old soft suspension. I was torn between the same thing and really glad I went with shocks/springs.

That makes sense... I too regret selling my miata, and the pop-up headlights... nothing can beat them!!!!!
CBR600, thats a nice bike from what i've heard, although I admittedly don't know too much about them. haha

Yea thats exactly what i've been thinking about, but I'm still stuck on what I want to get.
The one thing I know for sure is that I'll be going with Bilstein 5100's..
As for springs.. It's just been a headache. I've been contemplating the Moog's for the FJc, but my only worry is that they don't fit on the rear axle all that well, and there's no sure answer on whether they've been fixed or not..
5th gen t4rs were another option, but apparently it's not that much of an improvement.
oem fjcs are nice too, but i'd just be worried about the age on them.
I've been having this weird mouse like sound.. I opened up the cabin filter but there's no sign that a mouse is there or got into the system, but I could be wrong.
Could someone possibly identify what this sound is coming from or what it could be?
Finally got off my butt and did two things to the car.
1st. Finally replaced my cabin filter thats carbon filtered, which I received in the mail from amazon. Cabin smells MUCH better, I don't have headaches driving the car, and not sneezing all the time.
2nd. Installed USB ports into the center console. It's awesome, but I kind of regret buying the one I got. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Nonetheless, it works.
Finally, when I was installing the port in the car I found that there was this extra white connector(left of 2*L). Does anyone know what this is for????
Finally got around to removing the running boards. LOVE the visual lift, and also the fact that I don't rub my pants all over then getting in and out of the car, as I don't use them...
2 things...
1st. while removing the boards, I noticed that there was axle grease from the pass front CV. Are rockauto replacements just as good?
2nd. My 2nd row recliner is missing the push button to make it recline. Does anyone have a p/n or diy fix for this?

Not positive, but some Limited's came with an adjustable suspension as factory option and that might be the pigtail for the center console controls for it...

Hmm, that might actually make sense since I believe there were 5 or 6 wires which could be for up and down function + power/ground.
Ordered an ebay special 32" light bar recently which I will be mounting up and fabricating my own brackets to do so. Hopefully I get some time soon to do so though..
And.. I've finally decided to get some Bilstein 5100 with FJC Moog's front and rear. Just fingers crossed that the rear Moog's don't have any problems. Going to be ordering these soon...
Found a set of FJC trail wheels for sale on here for sale. After deciding heavily between the 5th gen Trail Edition wheels, 5th gen SR5 wheels, and FJC trail wheels by looking through many posts on here, I made my decision. After seeing these wheels in person, I'm glad I went with these wheels instead of the others since they do look good. Picked them up immediately, after I saw them on sale. Pretty much have to get my suspension and tires now.
Now have to wait to order my struts, springs and tires....
Within the first week of ownership, I took my t4r to Old Coast road. Sadly because we just recently got hit with a huge amount of storms that completely destroyed the Big Sur area, Old Coast Road was closed up to a certain point. But that didn't mean I had some fun in the dirt. It was short lived though. Just hoping to go back there soon, when they reopen the road
...and yea... I need to fix that faded front grille...
Within a month of ownership, I was able to make time to head out for a weekend camping trip. Went out to Bishop and Alabama Hills. This first post will be of Bishop, then the second post will be Bishop. While there were times I got a bit worried about getting stuck, the 4runner really shined. Being a noob to wheeling, I didn't carry any recovery gear. But luckily, managed no problems. At least I knew to air down the tires.
Getting to camp, there was an obstacle that was quite nice. 3 wheeled, but the 4runner kept on going
Arrival at camp.. starting setting up for the night.
Necessary night shot of campsite.
The next morning.. Much colder than I had thought it would be. SO fled to the car in the middle of the night since it was freezing. Started the camp fire ready for breakfast. Sausage, eggs, and bread on the menu.
Stock flexing!!!
Sierras in the background.. Onwards to Alabama Hills
