Rhino Rack? (X-Tray)

I've been searching but for some reason have had a hard time finding anyone with a 4th gen with a Rhino Rack X-Tray. Anyone using one? Would love to see some pics. I'm looking at the large rack, the one pictured below.

That's a nice looking rack. What are the dimensions of it? It looks a little on the short side, but it would be nice if they made extensions to make it full length.

Don't you want to be the guinea pig so I can see how it looks first?

If you end up getting that, definitely post up some pics! I have been in the market for a rack but don't want a huge box on the roof, want something a little more low profile without breaking the bank. This one looks great.

The only concern I have is how far it'd stick up over the stock rack, was hoping someone else was running this rack and had figured out a low profile mounting solution.

I imagine that it would look something along the lines of a Rola rack.

Well, looks like I'm picking up a large X-Tray tonight so I'll post some pics when I get it mounted. Found a hell of deal locally.

hmmm, this has me interested.
I've never looked much into roof racks, but now I've been camping for first time in years and I'll be going again soon. I could use a little more room to haul gear. I'd like to see how this looks on the 4th gen.

Anyone have other roof rack suggestions?

I had one on my 3rd gen. Don't have any of those pictures sadly. Solid rack. Only problem was the black covers with the X on it came off very easily and I lost one. If I got this rack again I would secure those covers on.

So Rhino Rack is based out of Colorado, they had an ad on Craigslist about selling some returned inventory for huge markdowns. Went and picked up this fully assembled, looks almost like new large X-Tray for $190! They retail at $399. Really loving the rack so far, can't wait to use it when camping this year.

augur, any chance you could take profile shots so we can see the overall length, and possibly front and rear as well? debating on getting this rack again, but I want to try and mount it lower like others do with the rola rack.

Also, here is where I got mine from. Its the shorter version. May be a knock off, but good for the price. http://www.discountramps.com/roof-ca...t/p/ER-08208S/

Now that it's been a year, anyone have comments? I'm thinking about buying one for my 5th Gen with a moonroof. Looks like the length on the XTray Large size will be fine with the clearance but would like to hear if anyone has experience to share. Noise? Gas mileage?

Had mine for about a year and it has served well. Noise is minimal and I didn't notice any change on fuel mileage unloaded. List of what I normally store up there below:

5 gallon fuel can
Round nose shovel
Black Husky storage box (recovery gear, air compressor, tarp, jumper cables, propane, misc tools, torch, hatchet, hammer, extra motor oil/gear oil and water for the T4R)
48" Hi-Lift Jack
Maxtrax (1 set)
2 camp tables
2 camp chairs
1 4 person tent
1 bundle of fire wood
