Battery Light started blinking then the car died and now car won't start!

Battery light blinked on and off a couple times last week. Had the battery tested and checked all of the connections for corrosion. Everything was good.

Then yesterday the battery light went on and stayed on. Now I don't have enough juice for it to turn over.

Probably the alternator right?

Fuse was ok.

Was able to get her to start and got her home. Battery tests at 12.7 volts.

12.7 battery Voltage while everything's off?
What voltage are you getting while truck is running?
On earlier gens it should be from 13.5 to 15.1 Volts. Outside of that, most likely a bad alternator OR connections to it.

Toyota components are bullet-proof. Issues often arise from poor wiring, assembly and/or maintenance. Suspect those first.
Next only to our senses, the multi-meter is the most important electrical diagnostic tool. Spend $6 at Harbor Freight or $$$ blindly replacing parts.

Test the battery and alternator and go from there.
