Independent mechanic recommendations
A thread for the times we don't want to wrench on our own cars. I'd imagine this thread to be a place to leave feedback on experiences (positive or negative) with certain indy mechanic shops-- sorry stealerships.

I'm specifically looking for a generally toyota mechanic in the Chicagoland area.

Fyi- found a mechanic a ways out of the city in Bensenville. Aaron at Centerline Automotive did a superb job. He's great to work with.

Always like Albany Auto Clinic on the Northside of the city. Down to earth, get it done mechanic shop, work on a lot of everything. Had bother and sister in law go there with no issues too:
