I only have a few miles on them. I will say they hum more on the highway compared to my KO2's, but that was to be expected and I don't mind.
Once I get some more miles on them I'll let you know how they wear and ride.

Those look awesome! I had a guy at Mr. Tire here in Atlanta try to sell me a set of those Yokohama Geolander MT tires but I opted for the new Falken Wildpeak MT and they are very good so far. They have a hum to them but nothing really loud. How would you rate them so far?

They look tough as nails and actually balanced out quite well. Like I said, I haven't drove them more that 15 miles. Once I get some more miles on them I'll let ya know!

I got around 100 miles on them so far. The highway noise really isn't bad and they ride quite well. I did have a rock get jammed in the lugs and get flung out on the highway and smack the inner fender which gave me a scare lol.

This is a sharp looking rig man!
I've never been big on the red 4th gen color but seeing this rig has changed my mind.

Thanks! It's different for sure, but I like it and it's a never ending addiction.

No new updates, just been patiently waiting 4xinnovations to release their bolt on 4th gen sliders. I'll be making the trip down to Platteville to pick them up and get them bolted on. Can't wait!\
Oh, I guess I did install some LED fog light bulbs since I got into some deep water and burned out the oem ones. I also removed the yellow fog covers.

I'll post some light output pictures later. I will say that these will come in handy and I'm glad I added them!

Here we go...
My first picture of my new to me 2006 V8 4WD Sport.
My first "mod" was getting my wheels painted matte black at a friends body shop.
Then I got some lamin-x yellow fog light covers and removed the steps.
After driving around like that for a while, I decided my ride height was way too low. On went a Daystar lift!
Not wanting to look like I skipped leg day, on went some All-Pro 1.5 inch wheel spacers and LT275/70/17 BFG KO2's!
My girlfriend got me a ROLA basket for my birthday, so on that went! Also found a color matched grille and installed that too.
On the way to our camping spot!
I also use my rig as my race hauler on the weekends
Decided I "needed" an ARB awning. So I installed that and used it that same weekend.
I built a sleeping platform and got a folding full size memory foam mattress and me and the girlfriend sleep pretty good now!
Well, that's all I can think of right now. Future changes will be new suspension and 4xinnovation rock sliders. After my tires wear out I plan on getting 285's as well. We plan on making a trip out west sometime to do some off roading/camping, hopefully soon!
|
Hi any chance to see the bed platform without the mattres?
