The 265/70 is not a bad size upgrade

Falken is also supposed to release this in 255/75 early 2018 and possibly 275/70 if you are able to wait for that in-between size

Happy to report that the Wildpeaks performed very well in dirt/mud/snow. Another rig has had them on their Tacoma for a few months and said they are wearing down slower than he expected so that's always good news

I'm very happy with mine so far. Hard to beat them when I only paid $400 shipped for 265/70/17

I Spoke with Falken a Few Months back and they said 275-70-17 was going to be released in April 2018 in a D Load. I'm trying to wait to get them in that size. My Cooper ATP's are at 94k. Seems like people are Very Happy with the AT3W

265/70 wouldn't be bad but 275/70 sounds even better. I can wait a little longer, that's not a problem. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm looking to buy some Wild Peak 285's and was wondering where you got such a great deal on your 265's?
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,

I got them on Ebay through Discount Tires. Ebay was doing a 15% Ebay bucks back and DT was having $75 gift card on 4 set of tires.

Just wanted to say that I'm loving my Wildpeaks after about 2 weeks. Running 285/70/17 with 3in lift front and back. Spidertrax to get them off the UCA. Run quiet and so far have been awesome in mud and snow. Love the look of them too!

Had a set of 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W installed a couple weeks ago. So far i am very happy with them. Slightly noisier than stock(obviously) but its nothing to gripe about. These tires fit well with the Method wheels 17x8.5 with 0 offset.

Has anyone run the 285/70/17 load E on the stock rims?

05' V8 4Runner Limited
Reason for the question. I just purchased a OME(886/895)/Bilstein(5100's) lift kit and will be running an ARB front winch bumper. However I intend to keep my stock rims for the time being until I can get the TRD rims or Methods/SCS.

I'm curious about any rubbing that may occur whether that be body mount or UCA's, etc

I've got 265/70/17's and love them so far, and have them in 265/75/r16's on our 2500 duramax, they do great on and off road!

Im looking at getting these tires but am torn between the 265/70r17 and the 265/65r17. My issue is it would be nice to save some money up front on these tires but I don't want it to look like its stuffed under the car. My 4runner has a two inch leveling kit up front. Does anyone have some advice?
