C1223/C1256 abs codes on scanner but no engine codes or lights

I have 2 codes that show up on my ob2 scanner (06 4runner 4.7 v8 sport)

1 - C1223 malfunction in antilock control system

2 - C1256 accumulator low pressure malfunction

so what is going on and what do I need to buy (or do) to fix this?

I should ad that the brake fluid looks clean and is at the full level mark

also if something is wrong with something, why didn't I see a check engine code?

Abs codes don't always trigger CEL

Does your abs pump run for long periods of time ?

I have no idea, I don't hear anything but have no clue how to check if its running or not.

it doesn't make squealing noises like the one in that video that's for sure

Hey guys - just giving this thread life again. I’m in the same situation and have a 3 codes with no CEL illuminated: (03 v6 4wd 230k)

C1223
C1256
P0430 bank 2 (this one in scanner is labeled “history”?? I replaced gas cap and the CEL went off last week)

Because the CEL / vsc Trac lights disappeared I stopped by a shop to make sure the p0430 was really gone, but then I got more than I bargained for with the c1223 and c1256. Didn’t even know anything was wrong. Can’t find a whole lot of guidance but welcome any thoughts of how to go about it. The brakes seem to be working just fine.

Any ideas?!?!
