Looking to possibly replace the head unit on my 2006 4runner

My 2006 4runner has it stock JBL head unit. Recently installed a GT kit but the radio won't go into disc/aux mode.
What recommendations do you guys have as a replacement.
Only real must for the head unit is Bluetooth.
I'm not looking to replace anything but the head unit and I'm unfamiliar with wire work. I just want plug and play.

Scion head units are plug and play and there are quite a few with Bluetooth. There's a few threads on the forum that outline what head units fit.

I just installed BT kit from AliExpress. It's only 80 bucks CAD. Are you sure that GT kit is not faulty ? Or maybe installation wasn't done correctly ?

I wanted to have Bluetooth with my stock head unit so I grabbed an adapter and plugged it into the aux in. There was a lot of interference so I added a ground loop isolator.
