Need advice: Rotted radiator frame support

Anyone know hhow big of a job replaceing this frame support for my radiator? It's on an 04' SR5.

I can't seem to find the part on Ebay so not sure I'm using right search terms. It appears to be bolted in to hoping its not too big of a job.

Any input appreciated.

Try the link below. FWIW, the rad cross member is welded in on my '05.....pretty sure it is on the '04's too. Good Luck.

Are you sure about it being welded? I think I see bolts on mine

Need advice: Rotted radiator frame support

I had a local fab shop make a new cross member out of 5/16 steel and then had 1/2 thick plate steel welded to the frame for extra support. It was less than new part from Toyota and many many times stronger and resistant to rust.

We’re cutting line off tomorrow and welding on new 2” square tubing for the ‘legs’ and horizontal bar. Then welding 1/4” plate on either end, prior to bolting up the 1/4” plate armor we just finished building

does the radiator have to be removed to do this fab work?

This is as far as we were able to get yesterday.

We really don’t feel like cutting off that crumple zone and welding a new piece in. Open to other creative fixes

No chance your fabricator has dimensions or willing to make 2 more and ship it?
Apparently my drivers side tow hook area needs work. Thanks
