Help me diagnose problem under the truck...

Alright, I am going to try to describe what I believe happed right after I put a new set of Nerf bars on the 4R.
I took off the stock running boards (I simply did not like them) and bought a pair of new Nerf Bars, wanting a new look.
The bars that I received needed to be mounted directly to the frame of vehicle. Here is where something went wrong

Re: Help me diagnose problem under the truck...

When you post a photo, that will probably help. I can't picture the bracket in my head well enough to have any ideas.

I will get to some pictures tomorrow. What I am thinking is that when you remove the nut that is holding in place the bolt to the bushing, the bolt just hangs. Upon tightening, I wonder if something did not grab on propertly.
