Cad file bumpers

I found this site flatland4x4 while searching for cad files for a buddies jeep. They have front and rear for certain models and for a good price. Does anyone have or know of where to get some 4th gen files like this? Im curious how similar the rear would be on one of the xj or wj.. Maybe can use the shell of it with some minor tweaks? And update the files for the cnc table?

Im not much of a fan for the front bumpers but could give a starting point for someone on this board or someone they know to get somthing made up for our trucks

Like this post if you would buy the CAD files to my front bumper I designed and built. I'll change the side tube design to steel plate so it's easier to make. $150-$200? It'll only be maybe $200 for materials on top of that plus shop labor. Pay your welding buddy with beer.

Cut it out of aluminum or thin steel, I cut mine all from 1/4" plate.

I might be persuaded to start a side business for these...

I dont think people would pay that much for plans considering that flatland4x4 is charging $30 for cad files and pdf specs and i know of 1 company currently offering and 1 other one who used to do diy kits for 4th gen 4runners that charged right around $400-450 for the metal precut and some bends in it already for a pretty easy weld together setup. Other companies have also been open to doing diy kits if they had a certain number of people met for purchase..but no site ever got enough interest. Not trying to rain on your parade just letting you know what i have researched and found over the last few years

$30 for that junk? Honestly with the hours it takes to design something like this properly $150-$200 is a good deal. You'll have a quality bumper on your truck for under $700 with any custom cutouts or materials you want. Adjustable for a body lift, lightbar cutouts everywhere, and through-welded recovery points. Basically half-price with no lead time.

07-17 Jeep Wrangler (JK) Front Winch Bumper ? Flatland4x4

I mis read your first reply.. If you were changing your design to personalize for individuals by adding cut outs for specific equipment.. Diff lights and locations etc.... I can see adding to the cost for sure.. I thought you meant just one standard design like the diy bumper kits that are out there currently.

I modeled my bumper to fit with my 1.5" body lift and never redesigned it for a stock height body. It would require quite a bit of work to redraw the bumper, and I don't have access to Solidworks anymore, we have Inventor at work. If you have CAD it would be just as easy to start from scratch at this point.
