I found these links which is what needs to be done - i just didn't know how to word it correctly - i have the parts - the housing - I will have to get my son in law to do it, it's not easy it seems. Thanks for your help.

I'm also looking for part number for this socket. 2006 4R Sport with DRL. Takes the 1156 bulbs. Broken bulb while removing and couldn't get the broken socket out of the assembly.
