FJ Springs with Billstein 5100s. Data?
Gents,
Looking at putting FJ springs up front and slap some 5100s all around. I’m looking for a 2” lift. not lower than that, or higher than 2.5. I’ve done some searching but surprisingly nothing really of substance came up.
Anybody have any solid numbers of lift achieved with the .85 and 1.75 settings combined with FJ springs?
Thanks

I am in an 06 4WD 4Runner V6 and I upgraded to Bilstein 5100s with front only FJ springs. They are the TRD springs and they had 30k miles on them when I installed. I set them at 1.75 and that got the truck perfectly level (which came out to 2 1/8" of lift in the front). Still riding on stock rear springs till I can find the FJ springs for the rear. I imagine you will yield different results depending on the FJ springs you find and if you are in a 4x4 or V6 or V8.
Also, me and my buddy were able to install by ourselves with no spring compressor so if you need some direction on how to do that feel free to ask!

This is exactly what I would like to do with my '04 V8. I appreciate you starting this thread and people replying with information and images. I've looked through the lift and tire central posts for 2" lifts but it's hard to find specifics.

@ simple
These measurement are to the fender edge when I first lifted mine.
Stock:
RF = 32 ¼” LF = 32 ½ “ RR = 34 ¼” LR = 35”
With FJ set at 2.5 w/ rear 1.5" spacers:
RF 36 ¼” LF 36 ½” RR 36 ¾” LR 37 ½”

Sorry to change subject a little. In your signature it states you have 5th gen UCAs. What is the purpose of those? Are they stronger, do they align better with a lift?

They are essentially the same as 4th gen. I replaced them with 5th gen ones because they had less than 1000 miles on them so the bushings and ball joints were almost new and it was cheaper and less work than replacing the bushings and ball joints on my old arms. I got them from a member on here for like $60.
