Removed the Super Bumps mounting bracket and bolted them right to Metal Tech extension blocks. Gained about an 1.25" up travel. A lot less like a Pogo Stick now.
@LTDSC
Thanks for the Tip Sam!

System is working really well! Travel is taking the tire up into the inner fender well so I might need a 1/2" or so bump stop extension lol.
@TOTAL CHAOS
The amount of travel for stock length is amazing!! Thanks for the Great Products!!

Noticed my trans temps getting up over 200* when pushing hard through the thick sand. After sitting, Trans would cool back down in about 10 minutes.
But, there are times when you get in a position where it's really hot and there isn't much air moving across the cooler, and your not able to park and let it cool off. One example in this Florida heat is bumper to bumper traffic after exiting an interstate will usually result in sustained temps over 200*, especially with the A/C running. Trans brake will actually raise temps a little as your exiting down the ramp.
So I installed a little helper (Spal 4" pusher fan-3A draw and 124 cfm) on the factory cooler. I might go bigger cooler and fan one day but I figured this was cheap insurance in the mean time. I decided not to mess with an auto/temp switch so I can control it if I ever have alternator issues on the trail. Used an aftermarket push switch off amazon that fits in an empty spot on the left side bank of dash switches.
Used galvanized plumbing/hanger strap from Home Depot.

Super jealous of your suspension lol, good work. I’ll be following!

Thanks, basically copying the Cali boys quite a bit. East Coast is so far behind with suspension tech. I learned about King, Total Chaos, and CaliFab rear links from some of the 5th gen guys, but when I started digging into 4th gen threads,
@LTDSC
has one of the baddest Runners of all the generations. But anyway, not into building a typical Florida mud truck, thats been done to death and Ih8mud to boot. I like SPEED! Gimme several miles on a power line rd at 40 to 60 mph and I'm in heaven. I do wish I had sucked it up and done the LT front instead of the dual set up. I still have a lot to learn, but I don't think the stock length can keep up with the rear suspension.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Or you could say I'm just ripping you off. Killer design Jake!! This thing is really stout and the vertical tubes aren't even installed yet.

Looks good!
Thanks! I think it definitely looks better with the LT and bigger fenders on your Truck, so the boys at Apex made some small adjustments to bring it in to match the standard length. My uprights are narrower than yours for sure, and they chopped a 45* in the lower portion today for a better approach angle. Very happy with it though.
