Wheels, Tires, Lift questions/advice

I've been reading the various build threads, wheel threads, and tire threads and have a handful of basic questions. This is my 3rd 4Runner and the first one that I am planning to do anything other than add weathertech floor mats to.

I have a 2003 SR5 with 172k that is too old and too many miles to sink any money into. The one I am looking to spruce up is a 2006 SR5 4x4 with 114k in Galactic Grey. Currently its stock as stock can be and I have started my build thread by purchasing:
- Westin Bull Bar
- OE Rear Spoiler

I want to make the following additional changes:
- TRD wheels in matte black
- 265/70R17 KO2s (or close to that)

I want the truck to look a bit more aggressive without making it tough for general driving (i.e. 60 mile drive to the airport or a 3hr drive to the beach) and I think the changes I want to make will do that, but here are my questions:

- Can I do the wheels and tires listed above without needing to lift the truck with no rubbing (i.e. keep it stock suspension)
- If not, what is the recommended lift approach without going crazy, I don't need bigfoot, just enough to accommodate the new wheels/tires.
- What can I expect the impact to ride quality with just the wheel and tire switch if lifting isnt needed. If lifting is needed, does that also impact ride quality?
- I've read the offset on the TRDs create a slightly wider stance, so that eliminate the need to add spacers?
- Are there better options for tires than the KO2s?

I tried to attach a couple pics, one is my starting point and the other is a truck I liked the look. Not sure if it worked or not.

With that tire size I think you'll be fine without a lift as that's not.much larger than stock. The ko2 is a great tire from what I've heard, ive never owned it though. It is a blockier tire so you might get some rubbing, but I wouldn't think it would be very much. You can easier push the front fender lining forward if it rubs there. But.i don't think you'll have much rubbing.

If you are looking to.lift cheaply. Look at daystar lifts. They have a leveling kit which lifts the front 2.5" I think with the option of a 1.5" spacer.in the rear for a more.leveled look. Or you can get a budget boost lift which puts a 1" spacer in the front. Based on your goals, you do decide to.lift, id get the budget boost. Its a very small lift and will even out the truck nicely front to back.

I used to have the budget boost 1" and a 1.5" in the back of mine. Driveability was the same, noticed little to no.difference. You can look in my build thread to see the first lift I put on and that'll give you an idea with the front how much the budget boost daystar will lift.

I'd got with the Daystar 2.5/1.5. That is what I originally did when I put 265-70R17 tires on mine. Only thing I had to do was moved the fender liners forward because of minor rubbing. Also, if you are going with the Toyota TRD Pro wheels I'd throw a set of 1.25" Spidertrax wheels spacers on, will give you a more aggressive look.

Here is mine with that exact setup.
