Both serve the same function. However both mount completely differently with the Rago mounting to the hood hinge and the CBI requiring pulling the fender out to mount to it's mounting bolts. Right now I'm leaning towards the Rago.
Thoughts?

I just picked up a set of the Rago's on the garage sale and got a great deal for my 5th gen, the installation is super easy, just bolt to the hood, don't have to worry about pulling fender liners or anything

I went with CBI b/c they push the lights to the side more so that they're are out of your line of sight (mainly the driver side)
They do require a little more work to install, but there's a great video on youtube that is pretty detailed. Took me about 15 mins per side to install.

I have the CBI's since Rago part for 4th gens didn't exist at the time but the Rago's look nice. Slimmer, slightly easier to install, should play nice with a snorkel.

That's another point that you bring up - a snorkel. This is also another item on my list to install and the Rago looks like it would coexist with a snorkel better than the CBI's (I could be wrong). On the other hand I appreciate the comment that the CBI's are further outboard to stay out of the line of sight in the cockpit.

I went with the CBI as well and I like them. If you are not in a hurry you can go to the CBI site and click on garagesale and download the PDF. The occasionally have some ditch light brackets in the scratch and dent.
Went with CBI as well as they were a little cheaper, and came with a free t-shirt - installation took about 25 minutes tops I'd say. Can hardly see the lights from the windshield which really adds to it since the windshield on the 4th gen is tiny
