Hey, sorry for not having any pictures but I couldn't find this info anywhere.
Everybody seems to think you have to unbolt reservoirs and shrouds and fans and junk but I don't have time for that shit in the parts store parking lot. I actually finished it up with some assistance from

and it was a breeze.
Step obvious (I forgot to mention): undo the drive belt/hook it back up later or sell me some of your interior molding before you junk it.
Step one: disconnect battery (negative first)
Step two: remove skid plate(s)
Step three: remove the two nuts (12 & 14mm) and one bolt (14mm)
Step four: disconnect the push connector from the alternator (do the 10mm nut under the plastic cap whenever you can)
Step five: hook a ratchet straps to your lower control arm and the other to the power steering pulley (hook from the engine side toward the bumper) and ratchet that sucker down. I used pull straps from harbor freight so don't ratchet it down too hard! Now remove the 17 mm pulley nut and slide off the power steering pulley.
Step six: at any time before now you really should have dropped the front sway bar from the frame, leaving it connected to the steering knuckles. I did not do it earlier, but it is the ONLY way to maneuver the alternate out/back in.
Step seven: bolt everything back up hand tight on the alternator and reconnect the battery (positive first)
Notes: you may have to get creative/cheat to tighten the power steering pulley nut.
I have a 2.5" lift and that helped.
MUST HAVE TOOLS: ratcheting-flex head-combination wrenches and a metric socket set
This is a perfect time for some rad rubber engine splash guards if you haven't done it yet!
Make sure you get the nut tight on the pulley. I'll probably use loctite on it if/when I rebuild the steering system.
