Do we have any idea of a price-range for this by chance?

Sure.
For those that still need headers:
Doug Thorley 03-04 headers
Doug Thorley 05-09 headers
AND, the Gibson catback, which pairs great with these headers, there is also a rebate of around $50 I can get you after ordered!
Gibson 4th Gen exhaust
Keep up with the emails to DT. I didn't know if this post would get much feedback, but I'm pretty sure if it keeps up like this we can get Y pipes done! I'm going to send an email myself

Isn't it just a stock replacement for the passenger side of the non-california emmisions y pipe? Mine has two secondary cats, one on each side before they merge. We're looking for large dia, smoother bends and merge, and no pancake coming across from driver side.

I run the Magnaflow Y-pipe with the Gibson Exhaust. Magnaflow flows better than stock (smoother merge - no pancake) and comes with CAT and got it under $170.00 shipped and cost $100 to get installed with new gaskets.
Noticeable difference in throttle response and low end (I have CAI and Gibson exhaust). Very worth while mod for the money on the 4.7L. Truck did not get any louder, but sounds a little throatier. Its stainless so there's some weight savings as well.
Hope this helps...thread is below.

Thanks!! I read that thread months ago is why I asked about it. Love the URD Y I put on my 5th gen. Also wondered why no one like Thorley or URD didn't make one for the V8s. Not enough interest to warrant the dyno time I guess.
ATTENTION: Everyone go take the soccer sticker off your trucks, go get them dirty and start asking vendors like Jason B for performance parts!!!
That is all.
Thank you ladies and gentlemen.

I think people are mainly looking for a Y pipe with no Cats. But for $170 the magnaflpw Y pipe doesn't sound too bad. I have not seen it for myself yet.

Lets tackle the mountain first and get some bolt in friendly headers.

That’s an easy fix with a long flat head screwdriver and a hammer

$170 is a really good deal for that Magnaflow Y pipe; considering the converter itself is around $95 and Y-merge around $30, and you still need a mandrel bend, straight tubing, flanges, and weld it all together.
You could always chop the cat off, replace with a section of straight tubing, then sell the converter to recoup some expenses.

This thread is about the Y pipe bro.
There's already bolt on headers offered by Doug Thorley.
Where have you been ?

I think Matt maybe referring to headers that don't require any welding ability or having to pay to get them welded.

Have you installed the headers on your truck yet?? If you speak with someone at Doug Thorley tech department, they’ll tel you that the guy who does all of their test fit installs says ‘the last 2 bolts are a *****’ in his notes. That’s a direct quote btw and a complete understatement
