I was under the impression...you hook the PC to the URD MAF via the USB to RS232 converter and that is where you modify the signal to the MAF.

The AFR meter (bung to exhaust) is so you can see the air-fuel-mixture and then modify it to acceptable levels...with the PC hooked to the URD MAF.
I think this is correct. I have the aFe intake and unfortunately Gadget said "I don't have anything for that intake".

I plan on hooking the laptop into the MAF (via USB to RS232 converter) and seeing what happens...

I know Im reviving an old thread but I qould like to hear updates on those who have been running the URD upgrade.

Are you guys running 87 or 91 gas? Are you guys happy with it? I would like to hear your thought.

5th gen guys got into it a bit more than the 4th gens...
URD MAF Sensor Calibrator

Once the URD maf is on, after awhile its just there doing its thing.

I have 5th gen. I didnt realize this post was in the 4th gen.

Was thinking it is 93 octane.
