Ya it IS disappointing lol. With 2" CO lift in the front and probably 3" in the back w/Icon's dual-rate 3" springs, my 4Runner def looks under-gunned with the OEM wheels and BFG 265/70/17's, especially when I'm empty in the back. If I ever decide to get a rear tire carrier, or somehow one of you rocket scientist engineer forum guys can figure out a way to reasonably get a larger tire below, I'll upsize. But for now no way do I want to screw around with upsizing and having to carry the spare on roof or inside. My 265/70/17s have gotten me everywhere I've wanted to go in Death Valley, Panamint Valley, and Eastern Sierra mountains, and at this point of my life it seems like I'm doing less technical stuff and more traveled trails and fire roads.
