A little something I like to call the fun button...

For a while I felt like throttle response was slow for my 2006 4runner and did not see many options to correct this. After looking at both Pedal commander and sprint booster I found a used Pedal Commander on ebay for a lot less than new so I bought it. The issue I had with both is the fact that neither looked factory and I wanted to be able to change the driving mode without reaching under the dash. My solution was the 2014-2017 Nissan Rogue sport mode button. After some planning I used the available switch blank where the memory seat button would have been. I had to dremel the majority of it out as well as the bezel for the switch to mount it on top. There are two sets of wires in this switch. The bottom two (green and grey) are the backlighting when the headlights are turned on. I wired these into the other backlight wiring then finished those with wire loom and tessa tape. Next I opened the Pedal Commander and soldered a red and black wire to the two left leads on the power switch/mode control. These wires were then soldered to the red and grey wires on the switch. The switch is pulse based so it works properly for the given application. Next I put wire loom and tessa tape for a factory look. Now whenever I want to switch driving modes I can simply press this button to move between (eco, city, sport, and sport +) Hope you all like this!

Thanks! and in general I find city mode to be what I like most. It feels so much more responsive than stock and with the button I installed it is easy to switch between everything. I do think pedal commander is pretty pricy but I am satisfied with the difference.
