I know this is kind of an old thread but those with the SP did you make your own mounting plate for the power module or did find one online? Any suggestions appreciated.

I made one from aluminum, page 35 of my build thread.

Whatever you do make sure its mounted vertically, or at least has a cover over it. SP won't warranty it due to water ingress if it's not mounted vertically. Ask me how I know.

oof, I hate to ask.
That looks really good. I will have to search your thread. When I go to it only shows 19 pages. You know about what post number it was in the thread?
EDIT - Found it. Thanks man
Thanks for the help

Expensive carwash repair.
New aluminum mount plate and cover. I'll probably make a fiberglass or carbon fiber cover using the aluminum one as a mold eventually.
Old one:

Plugged it all in and it works. The newer switchpro is a little nicer than my old one, RGB button panel, some more higher amperage outputs, separate connectors for the button panel and outputs, and a proper cord for the button panel instead of loomed wires. Some other stuff I'm probably missing.
Tomorrow I'll work on wiring my compressor, its all bolted in already.
Oh yeah, set my dial calipers on my tire and drove off, good thing they weren't Mitutoyo's. Used to use them all the time at my old job. RIP.

Like I said I might eventually make a carbon fiber version so I didn't finish the rough spots too much yet.

I only have ideas, no pics - but - I have this idea of mounting the switchpros module in the little cubby below the HVAC... so you could open the compartment to expose the switches when you go offroad, and then keep it closed and looking factory the rest of the time. Based on rough measurements I think it can be done, but I think you'd have to do some clearance work behind that space.
Edit - like this:
crappy MS Paint drawing

One of these days I need to clear out my engine bay and redo all my wiring and mounts. It's kind of a mess right now.

I used the cubby for live USB ports and dual battery voltage monitors. There actually isn't a whole of space behind there.

Agreed, it is quite small and you have to use the top 40% of that space very well because the bottom portion is very narrow. I still think I could make it work, but I just don't have enough switched accessories to warrant a Switchpro yet ( even though I wish I needed it).
