Switch Pro's Mount

I know that @tin was working on a sunglasses mount for the 4th gen but that seems to have fallen off the map. How have you guys mounted your switch pros? I would love to buy one of the sunglasses mounts but can't seem to contact TIN. If any of you have a good contact to TIN let me know

Thanks
Sam

Only picture I have but I basically drilled holes and mounted it next to my dac switch.

I extended the center diff lock wiring to the center console and then used the hardware to mount it utilizing the holes from the other 3 switches. Worked perfectly and looks clean. And yes, I took a pic while driving which was stupid but that alignment was JACKED after offroading!

I bought a limited "Panel cover rear cover" for the center console and mounted it there.

Expedition essentials makes some for a gx and tacos but nothing for us as usual. I was going to try and make one work if I ever get one.

I mounted one similarly in my center console, but used switch blanks to hold it in place. Not 100% locked in place for whatever reason, but still sturdy. I later ordered the limited center console trim piece to get another 2 switches.

I removed the sunglass holder and flush mounted it in the recess. It sits at a perfect angle, easy to access, and tucks it up out of the way.

Do you happen to have any pictures of this? Would be interested to see this in action - sounds like a nice solution....

Thanks Guys

Luckily I did the limited console swap before my dad sold his Limited. So I am going to go with that option. Thanks for the help.

If you're ever going to run front and rear lockers, I have to say that the console (where a bunch of us have it) is definitely the best spot to be able to flip your lockers on and off as needed. Finally put mine to the test this weekend and it was nice having the front locker switch right within arms reach and not really having to look or reach and allows you to keep your eyes on the spotter/rocks.

I tried three different mounting locations and found the overhead console to be the best compromise for accessibility and security. Prior to having the Switch Pro, I had installed switches on the center console and they keep getting hit by kids, the dog, etc. I still have the DAC switch there which needs to be moved. It was better for us to have power ports in the center console, so I moved the Switch Pro panel up to the overhead console. It works great there and I don't find that it requires much arm or head movement to press buttons on the panel.

I had the same problem with my son hitting my switches in the center so when I moved to the switchpro I made sure all switches but 1 were ignition only so there's no chance of accidentally hitting the air comp or the lockers. My side lights are anytime for camping purposes, but front/rear lockers, air, fog lights, and rear lights are all ignition only.

That's a good idea...
