Thumbs up volant cold air induction

just installed my volant cold air induction this afternoon . it was
really simple ( took about 15 minutes) it looks sanitary and it fits
there real nice just like factory.I purchased it from burtman ind-
ustries.com and that guy jason burtman is such a pleasent person to deal with.the only thing i did not get was the cleaning
kit because i still have some K& n cleaners left from past cars.
my question is this: can i clean my volant filter with the K&n
stuff or i should just stick with a volant cleaning kit?

jason has stated that you can clean it with either kit...makes no difference.

The Volant CAI is only for the V8...

it CAN increase mileage by up to about 1mpg maybe slightly more depending on driving style.

majority of the time, you're going to see a decrease in gas mileage.

b/c you'll be addicted to the vvti when it opens up.
