When the uniball is ready for replacement, you will typically hear some noise in the form of a clunk or creak/squeak. We have some customers with 30k of hard use and some with 100k and minimal maintenance. Keeping the uniball clean and free of debris will greatly increase the lifetime. Could you post a couple photos of your setup? We are happy to take a peak and see if we notice anything unusual.
Examine the bushings for any cracks or tears. Proper lubrication goes a long way for keeping these bushings healthy.
Often times the bushings are "bad" due to improper greasing. (
