Cool, they are my fav choices for these trucks. Good deep sound, and doesn't drone.

Great throttle response - Thanks Jason
"Holy S#!T!", is what I said when I hit the throttle for the first time after installing this beauty in my 2003 4runner yesterday.
Even after driving this for a few hours yesterday, I still said "WoW" when I hit the throttle the first time today.
Worth every penny!

What setting are you using? I have experimented with many, but have settled on red 5. I thought red 4 was perfect before I jumped up in tire size, but 5 made it feel like it did before the change. I love what it did for the performance of the truck. I know it doesn’t add any power, but because it alters the responsiveness, it definitely feels like a more powerful truck now. I won’t be giving mine up EVER!

From the feedback I've gotten, it seems most set a 9 and forget it. BUt the cool thing is you can fine tune it wherever you want, and it still blows about the stock pedal feel after installed, wherever you may set it.
Burtman Industries Sprint Booster, On Sale right now for T4r.org members! -Still a few in stock.

All this does is increase the signal gain from the pedal positon potentiometer. It does not remove the drive by wire delay to actually moving the throttle body that was implemented after that idiotic floor mat ecu update was implemented.
If you need to move the truck. Floor it and floor it quick. Under those circumstances, this changes nothing.

It will move the throttle body at the same rate that your foot is depressed. Right now if you were to push your pedal down 50%, there is a DELAY to get to 50%. With the Sprint Booster there is no delay to get there. There are many videos on this, and also say for 0-60 times, some are up to half a sec less which is a lot, same idea, fixing this delay.
If you ever decide you want one, I'll give you a full 30 days money back guarantee. The thing works, just some work better on other vehicles, but the 4Runner is one where it shines.

Alright, I've been on the fence about this for a while, but the overwhelmingly positive reviews have sold me! I think I'll pick one up next week on payday

It really doesn’t matter “how” you think it works, what matters is that it DOES work! With the device working to take away the inherent lag in response, you don’t have to floor it to make the truck move, it responds as it should. Trust me, I was highly skeptical of this, and was on the fence researching it for well over a month before buying one. Let’s just say I won’t be sending it back...

Red 9 daily setting
Set at red 9 to correct lag from large tires, lift, weight of winch, dual battery setup. Red 9 moves the weight and makes the 4Runner's reaction "Peppy."

I’ll have to test it again now that I’m running larger tires. I tried it when I first got it, but still had the stock tires and it was too twitchy and not smooth. I’m currently at red 5 and it’s pretty perfect for the way I drive, but the higher settings may be smoother now with the heavier, larger diameter tires.

I had mine at green 5. On the highway I liked it higher, but around town the roads here are just too shitty. You start accelerating, hit a bump, and the high sensitivity made it super twitchy. Got much heavier tires and now I have it at green 7 around town.
