Just ordered a Sprint Booster and some titanium studs for my DT headers from Burtman. Can’t wait to get my headers on and give the booster a shot to turn my 4Runner into a beast! As always, great customer service and fast shipping from Jason, I’ll be a repeat customer.

2005 GX470 Sprint Booster Update
Hello all, just a quick update on the sprint booster I pursued and installed a few years ago. Still working well and love it! I keep it in red 9 mode all the time. Quick story: I took my GX470 into a new mechanic for some general maintenance shortly after installing the sprint booster. The lady who took it for a test drive after maintenance (she worked in the office but had driven many 4Runners and GX470 in the past) asked me if I had had a dyno done on the GX470. She said she had never driven a GX470 with that much take off and acceleration . She stated it startled her when she stepped on the gas as the GX470 lunged forward. She couldn’t believe it wasn’t the usual acceleration dog. Just buy it!

Hey, y’all just talked with Jason at Burtman industries, I ordered a sprint boater to go with my doug thorley headers and y pipe, Jason was super helpful and informative on getting this ordered and explaining how it works. Top notch Customer service like this is what i look for when ordering from different companies. I can’t wait to put it one and see the throttle response

Finally got around to installing the sprint booster, this thing installs in less than 2 minutes. The plug and play on the pedal makes it very easy and the response from the throttle is very noticeable, my v8 feels much more responsive. Glad I finally ordered this, I can’t wait to pair it with my Y Pipe and DT headers

Should have gotten either a YotaWerx or VF Tune package for it to take full advantage of the new headers and Y pipe. You'll need it anyway to get rid of the CEL that gets popped by the (2) P0420 and P0430 codes when you remove all (4) cats if you have the VVT-i V8. Marc @ YotaWerx has some of best customer service and professionalism you will find.
Jason ghosted me on $75 O2 sensor extensions after I showed him a picture of everything mounted on my 06 V8. (NEWSFLASH - they don't come close to fitting). Even gave him a chance to have "his guy" work on it - still no response. A shame it played out like that - he seemed like a good vendor to work with. He's lost any of my future business, unfortunately.

I just ordered one for my GX470. Great price and fast shipping. I’d recommend getting off the fence and just order it.

(I've sold a slew of these for the Honda Ridgeline (another vehicle with the same issues as the 4Runner) because that truck has some natural hesitation and people loved them. ALSO, I've been selling these for the 5TH GEN 4Runner, which doesn't have as much delay as the 4th gen, and people still love them and are getting them. These don't give more hp, which many think that's what it does. It makes the vehicle feel more like there's a direct link, a cable link from the pedal to the throttle body, which most of these drive by wire setups still aren't instant like an old school cable would be. Gives a more instant feel when merging from an exit onto the highway, more instant response when mashing the throttle, and quick pass bys where you may need to get out the way quick, it's just all around more instant.)
