FJ Cruiser Steering Wheel fits on a 2003 4Runner?
Does anyone know if the steering wheel from an FJ Cruiser will fit on a 2003 4Runner? The oem steering wheel from the 4th gen 4Runner just plain out suck ass! I want to take the FJ Cruiser steering wheel and pay a craftsman to wrap it in leather and make a flat bottom so that the final product will look similar to the Subaru steering wheel in the attached picture. If the FJ Cruiser steering wheel doesn’t fit do you know of any other with three spokes that will fit? I’m also not a fan of the 5th gen 4Runner steering wheel.

Guess you could always be the guinea pig. If anything from import forums have taught us, its that most steering wheels from the same car maker should fit. IE: the miata nardi wheel fits the FD rx7 but it requires drilling to match up some of the holes. I know people with the NSX install civic si wheels from newer civics to update the look of their interior. It should be do able if you can find a cheap source for a wheel, maybe a pick and pull. at least test fit it if you can before going all in. I'll be interested in updating the steering wheel too. Maybe even just going with the 5th gen wheel.
