Ha, yeah. I love that place. So fun and easy. We go once on year on our way to or from Tahoe.

when you guys are talking about settings or height - from my understanding, the adjustment option is for shock stiffness, no? the one adjustment you can do is set the fronts (rears too? or just fronts like 5100s except not for height just firmness) for extra weight? grave did you set front and rear (if rear adjustments an option) on the stiffer setting for camping and whatnot gear?

that looks like a nice lift! the front looks high but pretty level overall and things should settle a bit too. are you like the ride thus far? i am debating on aftermarket UCA too for this kit - but i think once yours settle you will have some more room too. i might just grab some fresh sway bar endlinks instead of UCAs for my mechanic to throw in if i go this route instead of OME 884/895 combo. I will be getting sliders...still not sure if i want to go hidden winch up front and rear wilco carrier at some point, so i have a few things to think about.

thanks

It is high - I agree. I have a front bumper on the way (Coastal kit that I will get welded and powder coated locally) which I hope will balance it out I didn’t get the full kit since I had 2” icon rears but did go with OME fronts as well with the thought of going with a winch too. Oh and have the Wilco tire carrier enroute as well.

Ok - here are some initial pics of the Eibach kit installed. More detail to come.

Net/net: pleased with the stance and ride.

Learnings: need to set the front struts on 2nd-from-bottom height perch to secure a level stance. This only netted me ~2” front/1” rear lift from old 153k mole sagging suspension.

If you set the height on anything higher there is a massive negative rake which looks ridiculous and rides somewhat rough (learned that the hard way)

thank you! FOR THE V6, the bottom notch will probably suffice? ive always wondered, can the front lift notches be change when the truck is jacked up in a garage? or does the entire strut have to come off?

I went with a 3/2” lift. When I spoke with the Eibach rep he did mention that the top two settings were not recommended unless going with an aftermarket bumper and winch.

Oh - and asked the same question about the settings and unless you have a spring compressor, you have to take them off.

Hit Hungry Valley OHV in Gorman CA today with a few Jeeps. Mainly green/blue trails. Eibach setup held up very well - handled everything I threw at it and it was nice to do those trails with a slight lift finally.

All in all the upgrade was as expected. Standard Eibach quality, flatter on sweeping highway sweeping turns, slightly stiffer yet progressive ride, less nose dive on braking.

Money well spent.

I ran the ToyTec Ultimate kit for about 11,000 miles and was happy with it. Seems most people are happy with their kits. They use Eibach coils on their shocks.

Called Eibach

I been doing some research for my 5th gen on this kit. I'm really wanting to pull the trigger. I called Eibach and spoke with Dave. Told him my concerns about whether I would have a lean after install and worried about it sagging in the rear if I tow or just add extra weight in the back if I should upgrade to a heavier spring..I really did not get much help from him. No suggestions what so ever!
They are back ordered til mid Oct. There price are also higher then anyone else and + shipping to boot. I was able to have Bilsteinlifts to match autoanything. Both have Free shipping and may go with Bilsteinlifts and add the spring coils pre-installed for an extra $100.
