Thinking about getting this kit! Hey all, if you have this kit, would you mind posting your center hub to wheel fender measurements? Also list whether you have V6/V8, and any additional equipment added, as well as what perch you installed the front spring. And of course pictures are always great!

My measurements today:
FP: 21.25
FD: 20.25
RD: 21.75
RP: 21.75

Pic with 33s: Shared album - Google Photos

And with stock wheels and tires:

I'm running a V8. I have another thread on here somewhere with details as to my impressions of the setup.

Can't say how much lift I gained since I forgot to measure before. This is not the kit for someone looking for a sky high lift. It's for people who want good clearance with stock UCAs.

V8 - DF 21.5, PF 21.25, DR 23, PR 22.5

Mines set on the lowest notch in the front and I got a perfect 1" rake to level when loaded with gear. I also used a 10mm OME trim packer on the drivers rear for lean, which I don't think was needed. Now the drivers side is slightly higher but might it settle one day.

Originally I was going to run stock UCA but my alignment camber was only 1.7 and 2.4 so I'm now putting on JBA upper arms to correct caster.

Love the kit on and offroad, great value for money.

I’ll try to remember to measure this weekend. I’m up 1” in the back and top notch up front. 2.75” I think. I love it. Feels great on-road and takes me everywhere I want to go off-road.

Thanks for the replies. If anyone else wants to add their measurements, that would be great.

This looks like a nice lift, but I'm not sure it is really a "2.75/1.0 inch" lift as indicated by Eibach. Looks closer to stock height, or maybe an inch or so of lift (my understanding is stock is 20" front, 22" rear).

I am looking into a mild lift as well. Not wanting anything harsh because I live off a dirt road.

I got the lift numbers stated by Eibach, or at least very close, every vehicle seems to be slightly different depending on the sag of your old springs. Stock is about 19" front 21" rear. This is definately not a stock height kit. After my lift I almost fell jumping out because I wasn't used to the ride height yet haha.

Agree with this. It's not like the dobinsons kit where it's "holy shit that's lifted." That said, this kit does work really well with stock UCAs.

I also think the claimed number will depend a lot on V6 vs V8. The nice part is the adjustable fronts give you some flexibility.

Money well spent.

Yea I used to love that place . My favorite trail is Miller Jeep trail but you have to go to the top of Alamo mtn from Gorman to reach it or google to other entrance. Great trail and far less traveled than the Gorman trails that you have to share with every offroad vehicle in southern California.

Funny - was just out in Gorman this past weekend with 115+ Toyota’s lol. Was fun and chilled

Miller looks great. Is it very technical/difficult or a moderate drive? Wouldn’t want to screw up and get stranded all the way out there given the length of the trail.

I would say moderate if you stay on the trail but there are sections designed to test the baddest vehicle. Those sections you got to turn on too. Most stock vehicles are tested the most at the entrance on the trail especially if you go to far eastern entrance. The 4wd club that maintains the trail does a great job making it something challenging to everyone

Hey man, I'm getting this kit installed next week on an 07' v6. I've come to believe to keep the front shocks on the bottom notch but an slightly confused. Also would you recommend purchasing a quarter inch spacer for front or rear driver side. Thanks.

So I finally got my kit installed. Can't say enough about it. Got the truck back Tuesday, got brand new Toyo open country at2's 265/70/17 and it's great. No rubbing at full lock in either direction, we had no problems getting the alignment on point either. I did, purchase the wheelers quarter inch spacer and put it on the FRONT DRIVER SIDE and it's flush. I don't have pre or post lift corner heights but maybe I'll do that soon. Went from 157k shocks and struts to these and it floats. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone looking for a clean slightly raised look with better OEM factory suspension. The front shocks are fully adjustable, I have a v6 and went with the very bottom notch for height adjustment as recommended by Eibach. These are adjustable so in the future you can always get bigger springs to shoot up an inch or two. Very happy fella here.

Hey @joneblaze !

So I actually have the Eibach/Toytec Boss Lift Kit on my 3rd gen (I see that you have a 4th gen). The kit is no longer called the Boss kit; however, the link I attached is what I have.

I have the Eibach struts up front and love them. I have yet to delete by sway bar btw. That said, I haven't had any problems.

If you're going to lift your vehicle more than 2", my two strongest words of advice would be...
1. Replace your UCAs... this will allow for more movement, per say.
2. Replace your CV axles. After I lifted my 4runner, having a 3" lift basically ruined my CVs, so I replaced mine with CVJ axles. So far I absolutely love them. I have about 6k miles on them, about 750 miles offroad... maybe more. I did some pretty rough wheeling out in South Dakota (Black Hills) throughout May of this year.

That would be my biggest advice/input having lifted the front/rear end of my vehicle. Absolutely love Eibach thus far. If you want to see my setup, my IG is @Griffin4Runner

Cheers!
