tire carrier installed

finally got my full size spare mounted and on my carrier.

i still need to get the supplied LED light on the plate.

Does anyone know how aftermarket plate lights get wired?

on my first shakedown run i noticed it doesnt move really at all
with the wedgle block tightened up in the receiver.

lovely craiglist purchase on that goodyear (jeep takeoff i think) fullsize...finally had it mounted just to find a nice nail hole in a not so great spot. plugged it. at least its my spare and the traction is almost new.

Did you put additional lift to be able to install the 255/75?
I just purchased a set of 5 BFG mud Tires with Rubicon wheels for $275. Just wanted to double check that it'll fit with my FJ Coils. Deals are plenty from Jeep owners that's for sure. Nice job!

I got my carrier buttoned down and am enjoying it, shoutout to detours offroad. Fresh wash and turtle wax ice. Black lugs smitty 54" jack in hatch and brute tote with 50+lbs of tools and this this feels like a caddy w the lift. I'm happy with how its settling with the weight too as far as stance goes...been performing well in winter and offroad, the kumhos at are really nice. I'm going to just look for a scion pioneer radio or pioneer double din blue tooth and enjoy it for awhile.

Ran a fun undisclosed area today I spent a lot of time in my old jeep there about a decade ago. Love my billy and ome setup.

Ive been enjoying the truck since getting it almost a year ago now. Find myself claiming local trails weekly. Had some fun w a buddy who has a to Sahara on 35s 4.5 lift, friday until 1130 pm in a haunted forest in MA called copicut freetown forest. Ran the tough trail behind him w many 100'x3'+ bog holes littered w large rocks. 4h locked 2drive no problems! Highly recomend the carhart seatsavers, albeit $$. Decent dog hammock out back is a nice combo. Taken phone mount drilled. Beltronics radar. Tacklife jump pack. Interior mount smitty lift w slider adapter and custom base. Loving the truck. 139k miles last I looked. The truck ran w a lifted jk rubicon in winter with half frozen bogged and rocky trails.

I'm doing a new headunit and need to address why ac stopped blowing since I bought it. Ac light button stays lit fine hope its just refill.

got myself some x-bul recovery boards, $125 on amazon. going to be glad i have these in northeast winters as well as for sand/mud that we have on our trails too. im really happen that these fit almost perfectly between my rear wheelwells, had to snug them in slightly but they wont be moving or visable to anyone looking in my truck. this is cool because they are hidden under the double decker cargo im using.

got out for some exploring on saturday. ended up finding a few new trails which were fun but noted as really going to be fun when we have 6" + of snow on the ground. did run copicut road because its been pretty dry...saw a 2018 tacoma lifted on 5100s and methods and MTs just went through it and gave me report. apparently since i was running this backwards to what i usually do, the mud hole in the pic has a drop in it that i forgot about coming from the other direction. we got crossed up while sinking in it and i am glad i threw my locker on just before jumping in it. crawled out no problem. these deep puddles have multiple rut-lines and milkcrate sized bolders littered in them so its a fine line between getting thru and no messing something up sometimes.

loving the stance with weight on back now

the puddle that has a hole in it and i missed the ruts on. people run this trail in 2wd sometimes and just carve out these mud bogs, which are sometimes deep (like 3+') and unavoidable. this would be considered dry out there

New Headlights

TYC oem replacements...did a lot of research and landed w them. The fit is awesome I must say and I got all the bolts including pesky inner fender, all bodylines are tight. I broke a clip on 1 bulb connecter and used a zip to keep it together for peace of mind, classic. They came with sylvania bulbs too.

I relocated my breather recently with a nice 7' kit to my taillight and will be dling some POR 15 and skids soon. Our trails can get wet and we have brutal winters, want to be proactive aside from garages.
