PSA for this:
I wasn't sure if the OEM springs that go over the bolts attaching the forwardmost Gibson pipe to the OEM midpipe should be retained, also wasn't sure about the gasket that goes between the two. Turns out they should be retained, according to an email response I received from Gibson (they answered super fast, very impressed with that).
So, if anyone neglected to do that like I did, and subsequently threw those away like I did, might want to order new ones.

Does anyone know what the current lead time is on these exhausts?
I'd like to buy one but I don't know if I am going to want to install it in December in Upstate New York haha. Thank you fellas!

I mean they’re currently in stock on Amazon, so you’d get it pretty quick purchasing off there.

if you go with the DT headers and the Gibson cat-back, what goes in the middle? does the DT y-pipe make up the rest of the system?

Long tube headers + stock ypipe OR URD ypipe OR DT ypipe OR custom Y pipe + gibson system.
I, like some others here, added the Vibrant resonator by cutting the gibson system just past the y pipe and adding it in before the muffler. Takes away some of the "bark" of the exhaust but completely removes any drone sound.

Yep, you can re-use the stock Y pipe, or go with the DT Y pipe, which will flow better and give just added power and gas mileage.
Dt headers and Y pipe here
4th gen gibson catback, COVID SALE ends dec 31st!
Gibson is having a price increase JAN 1, so prices are going to be going up on the exhausts, but I still have them out at a killer deal. If you wanted one, they will never be this cheap. Also, things have been a little nutty with covid and these shipping out (these are made to order fresh). If you ordered and need an update, just call/text me and I will call over to production at the factory and check on your system for ya.

i'm one of those on the fence. i have at least one flange that's totally rusted through and will likely need replacing this year. i'm guessing a little (whiskey) lubrication might loosen up my wallet in the next 24 hours...

Gibson Exhaust 03 4runner
This exhaust from Gibson worked perfectly on my 03 4runner, easy to install and love the mellow sound.
But, the saddle clamps they come with do not provide the best seal. Ordered a set of lap joint clamps to correct the problem.
Still a good exhaust at a great price, Jason is very helpful if needed.

I got mine in the mail Tuesday and threw it on Wednesday. It looks excellent and makes the v8 sound like a purring cougar at idle and is just the right amount of noise at wide open throttle - I got stainless steel with the side exit option
