Hi all,

I've been searching the forums far and wide and I've seen a lot of people with head gasket issues, specifically the 2003, 04, and 05.

I know that there is a thread going about the issue already, but this thread will purely be about taking action. I have an 04 with 170k miles that runs perfect but there is a small head gasket leak and toyota wants 2500 plus just to do the gasket. I have called the head quarters and talked to the supervisor and she is not willing to help out (understandable, they lose money). What she did say though, is that enough people take action and call them with the same issue they will look into creating a recall or extended warranty.

The main goal is to flood them with calls until they take some form of action. If only a few people do it, it wont make much of a difference but if everyone effected takes action, I honestly think they may help out. They also said that if they get enough calls, they will contact all owners that have had issues within a certain vin range and reimburse them for previous head gasket work.

Their number is 800-331-4331 it only took me a few minutes and I asked to talk to the supervisor. I recommend you do the same to make a bigger impact.

If you have any questions please message me. I hope we can make some kind of impact because i'd like to get a 2018 in the near future but if they cant support their loyal customers, its hard to continue giving them business.

I have a V8 so I don't have this as a possible issue, but I will suggest that you re-post in any topic concerning this issue and on this forum an other because I doubt you ewill get enough people calling Toyota from just this topic alone.
