Rear Hatch lift supports, which one?

I have a 04 and I need to replace the lifts. I see they changed it on 05’s and newer? What part or where do I order what I need? Thanks.

Depends, Do you want OEM Toyota parts or aftermarket?

Amazon will have a ton of options.

Here is a link to the schematic with part numbers for OEM. They even have a cold weather specific option. Much more expensive than aftermarket though.

I just got generic ones from the auto part store. Same for hood struts.

damn things are $100+ new for OEM. i found some for my '06 on a wrecked '07 for $40 for the pair. they don't work much better than the shitty ones i took off ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had to replace the hood struts and the Rock Auto ones worked for me. They were on clearance but shipping was a little high
