LT285/70R17 (32.7" x 11.2") tire on 17 x 8.5 wheel, -9mm offset (4.30" backspace)

LT315/70R17 (34.4" x 12.4") tire on 17 x 9 wheel, -25mm offset (4.00" backspace)

Tire sizes that work well with the JBA UCAs

265/75R16 tire 31.6" x 10.4" on factory wheels

255/75R17 tires 32.1" x 10" on factory wheels

275/65R18 tires 32.1" x 10.8" on factory wheels

Any tire that is 32" diameter and smaller there is no fitment problem"
255/75R17 on Sport factory wheels definitely rub without spacers. I have tried. 5th gen factory wheels have a smaller offset so maybe they work.

Hey, bringing back an old thread. Anybody have JBA's and running 5th gen trail wheels (17x7.5 15mm offset) and 255/80's without spacers? From what others have said it sounds like it'll work, but would love to hear from anyone who has a similar setup.

I've got 265/70/r17 Wildpeak AT3w's on stock sport wheels and I rub when turning sharply going forward. All good in reverse though. Hoping to remedy with some new wheels or spacers soon. FN FX pros in bronze would look good on my black sport. I'd assume that the additional offset would be enough to eliminate my rubbing?

an update, i have 5th gen trail wheels (+15mm offset) and 255/80r17 falken tires. I had to run spacers because without them my wheel made contact with he JBA UCA at full lock. I installed .75" wheel spacers and now i have 1/4-1/2" gap between my tires and UCA.

And with 35's you will want a wider than stock rim.

1.5 inch body lift and no rubbing with the 255/80?

Did you have to trim/bmc?

Gotcha, I plan on the same set up, but was wondering if some grinding for clearance would eliminate the rub without compromising the structural integrity. I am trying to avoid using spacers.

might be able too. it's so close that you might get lucky, or the alignment plays a role in it. also probably depends on the tires.

I have a 3inch lift, 1.5 inch is just the wheel spacers.

255/80/17's on 6 star 5th gen wheels. I'd prefer JBA over the SPC, but the possibility of rubbing is preventing me from pulling the trigger. From the looks of it I should be able to clearance what I need with a grinder. But, I'd prefer to do it before I install them so I can repaint the raw metal prior to install, otherwise I'd have to install them twice. Once for test fitting, and again after paint/powdercoat, which is my biggest concern.

I should have done my homework better. I just swapped out the eBay suicide uniballs for JBAs. I have 285/70r17 Duratracs on Sport wheels with 1.25" Spidertrax and get some rubbing at near-full lock.

If I swapped these Sport wheels out for something else down the road, likely the TRD Pro wheels or just TRD OR package wheels, would that resolve it? I'd love to ditch the spacers entirely but that means I'd have to get a wheel with enough backspacing to compensate for 1.5" spacers and then some?

I think the Duratracs rub simply because of the aggressive sidewall tread.

Anyone running JBAs with Icon wheels or at least 17x8.5, 0 offset and 4.75 bs? Will I run into rubbing issues? Have 285/70/17 and planning on getting Toytecs Ultimate lift. Any advice on what UCAs are best for this setup..

I plan on running SPCs when I lift. I will be using 5th gen trail wheels and cooper 285/70s. I have heard far fewer issues about rubbing with SPCs. Plus I think red looks kind of tacky, especially against my silver paint. Overall I think it's a pretty clear choice for myself, but maybe I am just misinformed and haven't done enough research one both of these brands UCAs and their respective fitment.

Running JBAs with a 3" lift (Bilstein 5100s, Tacoma and Toytec springs) with FN FX Pro Wheels (17"X8", 0 offset, 4.5" BS) on 285/70/17 KO2s. I am not running any wheel spacers. I have no rubbing on the upper control arms whatsoever.
