finally, my DD is a T4R!

well, last week was a very interesting week. I had be saving up for awhile to replace my DD for something bigger than my 93' Toyota Corolla. Was planning on getting a 00-01 T4R when all of a sudden my wife comes up with a new idea. She decided to give me her 06' T4R we bought last Feb and lets just say 7K down and the wife is now driving a 07' VW Beetle convertible (her first two cars were bugs, 62' and 72 vert.) for 280/month for four years and I get to go from a 93' to a 06' that the wife was driving for the last year. needless to say I am excited to finally be able to drive it daily rather than occasionally on the weekends. And all things to boot I sold my 93' yesterday to a 16 y/o girl for $1800, she was most excited to have a car that had rims, and a cd player that would play MP3's and the fact it had a 10" sub so she could "bump" as she told me, lol.

My new DD

The white looks really good on the 4runner. Plus that whole deal was a pretty slick move IMO.

Congrats on both new rides! It is nice that you already have a t4r.org sticker on your truck already. That 93 Corolla looked like it was in good shape.

we had the sticker cause the wife drove it for the last year when we bought it new (ok, I realize now I forgot to add that part, lol)

my corolla was in awesome shape, recently had its second timing belt put on, replaced wp, valve cover gasket, got two new headlights off ebay and a grill (were sun beat and deteriorating) four new AGX gr-2 shocks and a recent tune up and alignment.

He he same here. My mom has a 97 and my sister has a 96. I got a '90 Corolla SR5 (project) and a '90 Corolla GLi liftback (imported from germany). My family loves Corolla's for some reason.....

Very nice 4Runner imprttuner88!

Are those rota slipstreams? I really like the way they look on the Corolla. I'm sure the girl who bought it will be very happy with it.

Congrats on getting the 4runner all to yourself!

It certainly makes a good DD. I drove my SR5 for a year and a half as my DD and it certainly makes a great cruiser to and from work. Yeah it drinks gas like a drunk in a beer factory, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Now my wife gets to drive it to work and she loves it. Happy commuting!

Congrats. I'm on the reverse end. I'm looking for a used Toyota, like a Corolla or Tercel as a daily driver. I had a '98 Corolla as my first car. I'm not concerned about the MPGs on the V8 4RNR. I just want my 4RNR to last longer.
