Lca options.

Looks like my lower ball joints are going out 149k miles is a good run. Looking for options gonna go ahead and replace both lca's not interested in rebuilding. Looking for opinions on aftermarket and where to get the best prices on oem. Any companies that sell them with urethane bushings and unreadable jonts? Thanks in advance
Dusty

I replaced my passenger side LCA with a 1A Auto control arm. The price was great and quality is very good. I have about 10K miles on it including a trip thru Colorado and Moab, Utah with zero issues. I also replaced the hardware with SPC bolts.

OEM all the way. You're rolling the dice with aftermarket replacements. Even if they're still MOOG parts, MOOG has different quality levels.

I've been really happy buying from Olathe Toyota online:

holy sig pic batman, some light reads from the search below. But if you're not interested in rebuilding them then rubber is your only option and OEM is the best. I would just keep searching the left and right part numbers on ebay until a new deal pops up.

OEM LCA: Buy New or Refurbish Used

Lower Control Arm Dilemma

Lower Control Arm Bushings, which make/type?

Buying whole LCA. Moog or Mevotech?

Lower Control Arm Replacements?

I would go with SuperPro, Google them and check out some of their videos. You can buy from Apache Off road. I just bought their bushing kit from Apache last month.

I've got some OEM arms that are ready for a rebuild I'll sell you for a reasonable price.

I'd replace the bushing and ball joint, but they're just taking up space in my garage.

I'm still on my stock bushing for both upper and lower control arms. Suspension is as good as it was when new and the truck has 270k miles on it. I will be replacing them at 300k with stock bushing because they are the best period.

OEM all the way. I’m at 240k miles and no problems. I can see the bushings are getting warn but can’t tell by driving it. Only changing out since I’m upgrading the suspension and am going to have it all apart anyway. $600 seems like a lot until you see the cheap crap failing on here all the time.

Just swapped my LCA's and UCA's with OEM. LCA's were new from Mcgeorge? Toyota for just over $600 shipped. Picked up 2017 UCA's with 20k on them for $100. Another $150-200 in OEM hardware. It's a firmer ride now with new bushings for sure, but feels so much better being solid and knowing all my suspension is less than 20k miles with 293,000 on the odometer. Have my originals too if someone wants a set to rebuild....

Another option for OEM is amayama.com. They come from across the pond but for the price, might be worth the wait.

I just rebuilt mine with whiteline bushings and Moog ball joints and what a job.
