4Runner Print Ads (Need higher resolution)
I'm decorating my man cave with some classic Toyota ads and knick-knacks, and I ran across these four 4th Gen print ads from years back. I'd like to find some higher resolution copies so I can blow these up and print on a canvas. I've used advanced search through Google and can't find anything higher resolution than about 600x450 for a couple of the photos.
Anybody know where these can be accessed?

I posted almost the exact same question in mid-December.Nobody seemed to have anything, but it was recommended to try and reach out to Toyota direct to see if they’d be able to provide anything.
I agree though, those are awesome and I’d love to have one or two in the garage.

@ mt_runner
I emailed Toyota on 1/3/19, so I'll update when I hear back.
@ jcaino
thanks for the info. I'll reach out to the artist as well.

Any update on this? I would like to make a reprint my 4runner matches the one in the ad perfectly.

I have done something similar with some retro racing posters several years ago. The were about the same resolution but i still blew them up in photoshop, printed them out and put them in some poster frames for my garage. If you really looked you could tell they were a little pixelated. If somebody was really good with Illustrator, and had a ton of free time, they could be recreated as vector art and blown up to any size they wanted.

Just a heads up to everyone, I had reached out to the artist as well. He wasnt willing to sell the file, but said he would send it to the print shop for a single print for $250.
That seemed outrageous as I am sure he was paid by Toyota back in 2006 - 2009 when he did the print. Curious what everyone else thinks? What is a fair price to everyone?

Oh wow, these are really cool. $1000 for the set of 4 does sound high to me unfortunately. I'd love to have the set for my basement. Wish we could come up with a way to get these things a little more reasonable.

Agreed. You could always commission an art student to draw one, they are in college and could use the money. You never know, you could get lucky if they become famous later in life, your paintings would be worth more than what you paid!

Definitely seems too high. I love them though. Looking at his website I only saw two of the four pictured in his portfolio. I'm gonna follow this thread in case someone finds a way to get the price down, (group buy maybe?)

$250 actually seems very reasonable to me. Maybe if he signed and dated it the print could actually appreciate in value for you. Of course, if you pay this fee you would want to properly frame the print - which likely will cost more than the print.
