Wow now thats def badass! I have 5 vehicles and all are mildly lowered (including a 13' Prius) except my 4runner. I just installed moog springs to lift it a tad. Now I may just hack away because of you Thanks for doing what you did!!!

I like it, id love to supercharge and lower my 4wd sport edition but it would look funky with the ARB bumper.

My lottery win plan is to do that and swap in a 1GZ-FE. ;)

Lose the round, step bar and replace with flat, step boards.
I think most ppl here appreciate anything custom and unique. Regardless if it's their cup of tea. Probably because most of us were into tuner imports back in the day and it was all about fusing personality with mods.

Can't remember offhand what forum it was on, but someone went to SOS Performance, Tundra Racing, Stoptech Big Brake Kit Rear Disc to lower his 4th-gen utilizing a sleeve type setup based off their Tundra lowering kit up front but I don't remember what he used in back.
There is/was another guy here who road-raced his 4th-gen, just very mildly lowered though.

I like the way it looks, but they need more motor to back it up. Either way, if you have good suspension on it, it probably handles well and is fun to drive. I wonder if you can lower using regular King coilovers with RR and tune for the drop.
It reminds of of the Land Speed Cruiser...

thanks for the comments folks. glad you guys like, I don't feel lonely anymore lol.
I will look for another 4runner somewhere and take some comparison pictures. and regular standing eye level pics.
not sure about taking off the bars or roof rack. I was going for a specific look, more like what was commented, short stout, bull dog-ish.
however, you never know what the future brings. Maybe a supercharger, but to be honest, I was just playing around to add my touch to this thing because im saving up to get a car to have some fun in. was thinking a Mustang GT350, but that GT500 is sick too. Maybe price drop in a year or so after the hype dies down. lol.

Im a rock crawler dude but I appreciate and like your creation a lot.
Id recommend losing the side steps. Would you consider using bags and slamming it? That would be my choice with my sons 2WD 2004. Just no time right now while I do a rebuild on my 4x4 '04.

I actually really dig it. I've often thought about how I would build a 4th gen for rally.

Looks sick! if it's a v6 theres pretty decent performance aftermarket if you wanted to go that direction. The idea of a 4runner drift missile tickles me a little.
Like others are saying I think the roof rack/side steps could be a way to improve the look. I think I'd personnal lean towards no steps at all, since I dont believe there are any "skirts" available, but the factory side steps (not the tube style) would definitely help make it look even lower than it is.
If you were a little closer to local I'd offer you mine for free.
