Dear Customer,
You bought A6YTY721PR on Feb 10, 2020.
I am afraid that A6YTY721PR is not compatible with your car.
You may purchase A6Y27 universal double din car stereos.
I can help you return A6YTY721PR. Thank you!

Oh well, I already returned it. Going to go Pioneer. Shame because the Atoto looked great.

No idea why they said that. The customer service rep I talked to via email said it would fit but not with the JBL system. After doing my homework, I found out what was needed and the differences in the JBL with and without navigation and the non-JBL systems. I curious to see what factory system you have. Do you have any pics of it installed, before you tried replacing it?

And just as proof that it does indeed fit.

The pioneer will last 10x as long and work better.

Great thread, got me thinking. I really like the idea of the android but haven't decided if I want to go to the extra trouble since I have the jbl system.

The app is Torque. It's an Android app so yes, it does have the capability.

I love any unit that fills up that spot without additional trim. Its the only thing keeping me from replacing my T1819

I have the Pro A6YTY721PR sitting in my cart at the moment and wanted to clarify a few things before I buy.
I have a 05 4runner sr5 base model with no jbl or nav. This unit will fit with no gaps, correct?
Does it have instructions on how to tie into the steering controls or is that covered with the plug and play harness they have included?
how does the audio output sound for music?
thanks all

You can see the differences in the attached pics. The first one was with nav or at least non-JBL/RDS.
The second pic is what I have that had the JBL system with RDS but no nav.

Looks like I've run into this same issue. Any chance you can buy the non-Limited bezel and trim the HVAC/clock controls to fit the non-limited bezel? I'm looking at $250 for bezel+hvac controls and I can't find one with auto climate like I currently have.

Nope, sorry. All long gone as that was a couple years ago at least. I don't even have the ATOTO head unit any longer as I switched to a 10" screen head unit that is easier to see and works better.
