Any recommendations?
I’ve read through almost all 110 pages of HVAC swap thread. Lots of info on LED but much of discussion seems to have started almost 10 years ago with ppl soldering raw leds and making things work. Now there is a mind-numbing multitude of these led’s available on Amazon etc. but neo wedge 3-4 are now being called T3 T4.2 / T5 T10 and so on...with basically zero reference to the replacement oem part numbers. Even the superbrightleds.com do not have the tall post.
Can anyone clarify how they complete led swaps for this particular bulb?
Thanks in advance!

Neowedge Instrument Panel Gauge Colored Led Bulbs Lights Lamps | Autolumination
Been going nuts on this site, they have EVERYTHING. The console and climate control lights are 5630 style, t4 for the display, t3 for everything else. They work great, only thing you may need to do is take a small file to the fiberglass board the led is mounted to so it will fit in the hole provided. But beyond that, I've replaced all in the console display, and I'm currently waiting on my next order to update the buttons as well. Those are 5628 t3. Multiple colors, no issue with voltage, I have everything I've installed so far working. Nice to finally SEE the backlights in my buttons, even in daylight.

Just bought an 07 4runner and looking at the link in your post, it shows 2 options for 5630 style, 1 at 150 lumens and 1 @ 50. which one did you end up getting as i dont want an overkill of brightness on the panel.
Cheers

I went with the max brightness. I'm happy with it. I went blue, so it's not hard on the eyes.

Which bulbs did you choose for the HVAC display on Autolumination? Everything else I’ve read is these are 6V T4 and 12V will not work. Every bulb I looked at (all T4, including the tall) show as 12V. Just curious what you used. Pics would be great.

Alright, I'm going out of my mind reading page after page after page. All I want to know is how many bulbs, what kind of bulbs, and I want them in white LED for the climate, clock buttons and screen. Please help because I have no lights in my gauge right now and don't want the OEM ones.

The same thing happend to me you need 2 bulbs. sold on ebay oem factory bulbs perfect brightness solves the problem for under 8$. Installation takes no more than 15 min. I tried going the after market route and the cheap route . I ended up putting in factory oem bulbs and im happy. Anyway id buy these for now and take your time sourcing out a kit for led bulbs or what not.
Look up in case link doesnt work.

Per 81Runner

This shows 8 bulbs total.

Amazon.com: GENUINE TOYOTA OEM COOLER CONTROL CONSOLE BULBS (SET OF 10) 90010-09015 - 90010-09019: Automotive
These are the bulbs.
C = 09017 = T4= NEO4 led Main screen/clock 2 qty (These are the only two with the 6 volt/12 volt concern)
D= 09018 = T3 = NEO3 Reset and Mode 1 qty
A= 09015 = T3 = NEO3 Three control buttons 3 qty
E = 09019= T3 = NEO3 defrost/recirc 2 qty
12Volt mod info:
Concern with only 6 volts going to the main sceen/clock bulbs. Most LEDs need more. 81Runner seems to be working. Read about using non SMD bulbs or doing a "12 volt mod".

Separate the positives on the LEDs. Solder wire to them. Run to a 12 volt source. I chose my accessory wire on my head unit wiring harness. I used a male/female connector so I could remove it easier.

I have a 04 sport and the inner contacts were also the positive side of the board. I just soldered wires to the positive lead on the LEDs, and then taped up the exposed area. I then used a posi-tap to tap into the 12V wire. I feel this is better than using a regular inline tap or soldering since they just screw together and can be unscrewed and screwed back together as many times as you like
LED vs SMD: What's the difference? LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. ... SMD stands for Surface-Mount Device.
Up next: figure out differences between 5630 and 5628.

Go to Youtube and search for Canadian Gearhead and the name of the video is "An Idiots Guide to Fixing LCD Screen and Temp Control Lights". He gives you the link for the Toyota part number and also the video on how to do the install. I did it in less than 10 mins. If you know how to use a screwdriver you can do this.

2007 T4R Climate Control Backlights - Specifics?
I am still attempting to specifically identify LED replacements for the OEM incandescent bulbs in the climate control panel in a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5. Attached photo reflects those OEM bulbs and bulb numbers.
The post below from 81Runner indicates that 5630(t4) will work on the display and 5630(t3) "for everything else". But then he says that 5628(t3) are needed for the "buttons".
While the info below is helpful, the comment above is a bit confusing. Of those bulbs shown on the attached photo, which ones require the 5628(t3)? ...5630(t3)? ...5630(t4)?
Also, what about the varying height/length of the bulbs? I don't see that accounted for in sources for the 5630.
Finally, I have scoured internet sources and the 5628 is not to be found anywhere. Can someone identify where the 5628 can be purchased? Or is this supposed to be 3528 instead?
I just need very specific LED identities and sources for each of the bulbs in the climate control panel:
90010-09015
90010-09016
90010-09017
90010-09018
90010-09019
Can someone assist with this detail? Much thanks!

2007 T4R Climate Control Backlights - Specifics?
I am attempting to specifically identify LED replacements for the OEM incandescent bulbs in the climate control panel in a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5. Attached photo reflects those OEM bulbs and bulb numbers.
I've seen in other posts that the Samsung 5630(t4); 5630(t3); and 5628(t3) bulbs will work but details are lacking on specific sources and specifically which of these bulbs replace which of the OEM incandescent bulbs.
Also, when trying to identify LEDs, I don't see addressed anywhere the varying height/length of the bulbs.
Finally, I have scoured internet sources and the 5628 is not to be found anywhere. Can someone identify where the 5628 can be purchased? Or is this supposed to be 3528 instead?
In summary, I just need very specific LED identities (item or part #) and sources for each of the bulbs in the climate control panel:

90010-09016
90010-09017
90010-09018
