I bought these for my '06 T4R.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The bulb sockets don't have the little plastic notch like the bulbs I'm replacing them with, and one side is marked positive (+) and the other negative (-). I want to avoid plugging these in incorrectly.
On the OEM wiring harness I'm plugging the bulbs into, which side of the harness plug is positive and which is negative? Looks like one wire to the harness is white and the other is red/black or just red, I couldn't tell in the bright sunlight.

I don't know which wire is which...but if you have a test light or could borrow one from a friend or many auto parts stores loan out tools for free some requirement a refundable deposit, but using a test light will tell you for sure which wire is which.

I don't have a light tester.
Will I do any damage if I install the bulb incorrectly with reversed polarity? If not, then it seems all I would have to do is simply pull the bulb, rotate it 180 degrees and plug it back into the harness.

All good.
Got both bulbs in the correct position on the first try. These are great.

So I got and installed the DTMoto black housing headlights with the Auxbeam H11 lows and Vehicode 1156 DRL's, and I am thoroughly impressed to say the least! Still have a little aiming to do which is almost as aggravating as the install itself LOL. One question though...what is the tiny amber bulb that seems to also be a DRL and is located below the 1156, facing forward? Apparently 1 of mine was blown and I never even realized they existed, but can't seem to find the size anywhere online.

Its a parking light. Bulb size is 168. If one is burned out I recommend changing them both to LEDs. They can be found for cheap on amazon or ebay!

Yup, they actually just got delivered today. Total PITA to get my hands in there to replace with the headlights installed though LOL.

Super happy with the AuxBeam low beams. Wow, for $30?!?
Highs and fogs and back ups look like poop now. Feels like an addiction to better lighting is starting...

Picked up back up bulbs. Sylvania 921 Zevo 6000K LED bulbs. Not nearly as impressive as the Auxbeam lows, but I think it has to do with the lens/housing? I’d guess it’s not designed to throw light, with the textured surface in it. I back up to my garage in the dark, nightly. No real difference in what I see. The bulbs look insanely bright in there, but the light just doesn’t travel...

Has anyone got the dashboard error lights when they installed the low beam lights? The error codes indicated ABS issues but then I put the stock bulbs back in I did not receive any codes.
Then I replaced one bulb at a time and the error codes appeared on each bulb, so I believe these bulbs are defective. I also installed the high beam bulbs and did not get a error code. So I’m asking for a replacement for the low beam bulbs and let’s see what happens.
2006 V-6 Sport Edition
If interested the codes were:
C0226, C0246, C0256 and C1223 all brake related. (I’m having no brake issues)

I bought this back-up bulb and have been disappointed in it: Philips 12789LPB2. Likewise it is supposed to be 6000k LED. It simply does not project very far and I back into my driveway and then the garage. There are no street lights on my street and my driveway is fairly long, 100ft. Often I have to get out and turn on the eve lights and garage lights to back it in.

I put in the replacement bulbs and do not get any error lights on the dash, so it appears the old bulbs were the problem. All is well now.
